Short-Term Disability (STD)

Short-Term Disability (STD) provides your employees with the benefit payments to help reduce lost income should they become disabled due to a non-occupational accident or sickness. Pregnancy or its complications are covered under this benefit.

Benefits are provided on a weekly basis at a pre-determined percentage of their salary for a designated number of weeks.
